Conduct at meetings
Association Members must be courteous to each other at all times and allow
everyone the chance to speak. Association Members must not swear or use
other inappropriate or aggressive language.
Association Members must remember that the purpose of the meeting is to benefit residents generally and not specific individuals. Discussion of individual problems should be limited to sharing ideas that will benefit other residents with similar concerns or in seeking advice and support in tackling problems.
Association Members should follow the guidance of the Chair in the conduct of the meeting at all times. The Chair has the right to ask anyone who does not follow this Code of Conduct to leave the meeting.
General Conduct of Association Members
Association Members must at all times be aware of and abide by the rules
set down in the Association’s Constitution this is for media, social
sites, meetings and everyday life on the estate and abide by the law.
Association Members need to be agree to abide by the regulations set out in schedule 5f the lease.
Association Members should not act in a way that might bring the Association into disrepute.
Association Members must abide by our ethos of equal opportunities and not discriminate against other Association Members on the basis of age, gender, sexuality, race or cultural background.
Use of Media
The Association uses the following media to inform or communicate with
Members:
• Email
• WhatsApp
• Notice Boards
Please consider other Association Members when using Email or WhatsApp.
The Residents WhatsApp Group should be limited to requests for information
or when providing important information that is relevant to other Residents,
it is not intended for personal messages.
